People will watch YouTube videos of terrible quality on\u00a0palm sized screens\u00a0as long as they can\u00a0understand what’s\u00a0being said…\u00a0but put an HD video on a large screen TV\u00a0with poor sound and\u00a0they quickly lose interest. \u00a0While the visual is sometimes self-explanatory, the audio\u00a0completes the communication.<\/p>\n

Many\u00a0articles have been written about the relationship between audio, the brain, and memory including, Music, Memory, and Emotion<\/a> (Lutz J\u00e4nke, Journal of Biology 2008, 7:21). or Involuntary Memory<\/a> (Wikipedia contributors, “Involuntary memory,” Wikipedia, The Free Encyclopedia<\/em> (accessed\u00a0January 14, 2013).<\/p>\n

While media doesn’t necessarily start with the audio, it finishes it.\u00a0\u00a0Remove the music soundtrack from a movie and the scene is empty.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0The closest thing to a time machine\u00a0I’ve ever\u00a0experienced is hearing a long forgotten song.\u00a0 Music\u00a0becomes the soundtrack to our life.\u00a0 So, audio is kind of\u00a0important.\u00a0 Quality<\/strong> audio is our<\/strong> commitment.<\/p>\n
