\"GROMMES<\/a>Mud-Hut will be 20 years old in October of 2012.\u00a0 I recently finished my fourth major studio upgrade, and it gave me a reason to think about the amazing experiences I’ve had. \u00a0Five different computers and operating systems (starting with DOS), a music industry that imploded on itself<\/a>, and cell\u00a0phones that record with better quality than the equipment I started with, seems incredible.\u00a0 The hundreds and hundreds of releases on cassettes, vinyl, CD\u2019s, DVD\u2019s, and USB drives, are impressive, but what really\u00a0excites me\u00a0are the thousands of awesome clients I’ve met.\u00a0 I\u2019m humbled by the number of talented and hilarious<\/strong> people I’ve worked with.<\/div>\n
Sure, I could\u00a0recall the tale\u00a0about the all-nighter spent\u00a0flashing the\u00a0ROM on my first CD burner from my Window’s 95 platform, or that this is\u00a0my fifth\u00a0major web design, but\u00a0it doesn’t compare to the incredible people I’ve met.\u00a0\u00a0From drug dealers\u00a0and their posse’s to Baptist ministers and their bibles, “I’ve had a most righteous journey, braw!”<\/div>\n

One time, I had a band that got so drunk that the bass player started crying during the mix down.\u00a0 “I’m sorry!” he sobbed.\u00a0 “I just played so bad today…I let you guys down”.<\/div>\n
A. There was nothing wrong with his playing.\u00a0 B.\u00a0If there was, nobody else in the group would have been able to catch it.\u00a0 They\u00a0finished three cases of beer and had purchased more.\u00a0 I put a cap on alcohol consumption simply by recounting this story to subsequent clients.<\/div>\n

Then there was the burned out bass player who sat on the couch in the studio studying an apparent age-appropriate book from my coffee table, “Where’s Waldo?”.\u00a0 He proudly announced to us that he had just found Waldo\u00a0“Three times in a row!”.\u00a0 When we realized that he had done this while staying on the same page, we became absolutely incapacitated with laughter.\u00a0 There were literally guys laying on the floor.<\/div>\n
As I said, the best part\u00a0is the people!<\/div>\n
